The Milwaukee Bucks 2016 preseason schedule has been released.
Highlighting the schedule is the Bucks’ return trip to Madison, in which they will partake in a training camp September 27-30, followed by an exhibition game at the Kohl Center October 8th against the Dallas Mavericks. Former Wisconsin and current Mavericks point guard Devin Harris will be making his return to Madison. Harris was a member of the Wisconsin Badgers from 2001-2004. Former Marquette standout Wesley Matthews will also be making a homecoming trip. Matthews attended high school at Memorial High School in Madison.
This will be the second consecutive year the Bucks will be playing in Madison. They knocked off the Minnesota Timberwolves by a score of 106-88 last preseason.
“We are thrilled to return to Madison for a second consecutive year,” Bucks General Manager John Hammond said. “The facilities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are unrivaled and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the state’s capital last preseason. The Bucks proudly represent the entire state of Wisconsin and we look forward to connecting with the amazing fans at the Kohl Center once again.”
Also featured in the Bucks’ preseason schedule are two true home games against the Chicago Bulls October 15th and October 19th versus the Indiana Pacers. All of the Bucks’ road games will be against familiar Central Division opponents.

The Bucks’ October 15th home game versus the Bulls will be the 40th annual MACC Fund Game. The MACC Fund game gives everyone a chance to learn more about the organization that helps in the fight against childhood cancer. Serving as a main foundation of the Bucks partnership, the game has helped raise over $1 million towards children’s cancer research and helped accomplish some truly amazing things.
