Three Wisconsin football players were drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft, T.J. Watt to the Steelers and Ryan Ramczyk to the Saints the end of the first round, and Vince Biegel staying at home with the Packers with the first pick in that fourth round. Despite this, many Badgers went undrafted and were quickly scooped up by teams immediately following the draft. Here is where they landed.

Sojourn Shelton- Arizona Cardinals

Shelton was quickly scooped up after the draft by the Arizona Cardinals and will look to compete in the secondary for a roster spot. Many worry that his height though will plague him from sticking around in the league.

Corey Clement- Philadelphia Eagles

Corey Clement has been given great opportunity to play for his hometown football team. After registering a relatively unimpressive 4.68 seconds in 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, Clement quickly began sliding down draft boards. Luckily for him, he will be given another shot to prove himself at the next level.

Dare Ogunbowale- Houston Texans

Joining the likes of former Badger JJ Watt, Ogunbowale finds himself in a position to once  more prove himself at the next level. The Texans currently have a plethora of running backs on their roster, like Lamar Miller, Alfred Blue, and third-round draft pick of D’Onta Forman. Things will not be easy on Ogunbowale, but the former Wisconsin walk-on will be quick to prove himself once again.

Robert Wheelwright- New York Giants

Initial reports cited that Robert Wheelwright had signed with the Panthers, but dealings went awry and now Wheelwright finds himself in the Big Apple. With such an impressive wide receiver core and already drafting a pass catcher in tight end Evan Engram, Wheelwright will face an uphill battle if he wants to make the Giants roster.

Bart Houston- Oakland Raiders (Tryout)

This is an exciting prospect for Badger fans who will get to follow their part-time starting quarterback on what we presume will be his final football endeavor. Regardless, we wish Bart all the best of luck!
