Madison Memorial’s Jake Ferguson has officially committed to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, according to Ferguson’s Twitter account.

Ferguson, the grandson of Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez and brother of Badgers safety Joe Ferguson, is a three-star athlete (has played inside linebacker and tight end) recruit. As one of the top 2017 recruits in the state, he chose Wisconsin over multiple big programs, including Iowa and Nebraska.

At 6’5″ and 205 pounds, Ferguson is Wisconsin’s sixth player to commit for 2017.
