ESPN announced the official game time of the first Wisconsin Football game for the 2017 season. The Badgers will host the Utah State Aggies at 8 p.m. CT on Friday, September 1, to be televised on ESPN.

This will be the third time the Aggies visit Camp Randall, and the series is tied at 1-1. Utah State won the first matchup 20-0 in 1968, but Wisconsin won the second meeting 16-14 in 2012.

This game signifies the first Friday night opening game for the Badgers since 2002, when they defeated Fresno State 23-21. Currently, the Badgers are 13-5 in night games at Camp Randall. Last season, Wisconsin went 1-1 for night games in Madison, losing on October 15 to the Ohio State Buckeyes 30-23 and defeating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 23-17 on October 29. This game will also signify the sixth time the Badgers open the season at Camp Randall with a night game.

So Badger fans, let the countdown begin.
