Quarterback Ben Bryant committed to Wisconsin on Wednesday, becoming the first Badgers quarterback of the 2018 class.

The 6-foot-3 quarterback from LaGrange, Ill. is a three-star recruit by 247 Sports and Rivals. He plays for the Lyons High School Lions who ranked 8-3 and 4-2 in their conference. Wisconsin offered Bryant an offer on June 24 of this year. He also received an offer from Central Michigan on June 25.

Bryant tweeted out his commitment Wednesday afternoon, thanking his friends, family, teammates and coaches.

Per 247 Sports‘ Evan Flood, following his commitment, Michigan, Michigan State, Louisville and West Virginia expressed interest in the quarterback.

Defensive backs Reggie Pearson and Trent Ingalls are the other two commits in the 2018 class.
