MADISON, Wis. – Junior cornerback and kick return specialist Natrell Jamerson is expected to miss time with a leg injury, Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst confirmed on Monday. He has already been ruled out against Georgia State.
Jamerson left Saturday’s game vs. Akron early and was carted into the locker room.
“[We] don’t know for sure how long Natrell will be out,” Chryst said. “Probably 4-6 weeks.”
The team’s #3 cornerback, Jamerson has six tackles through two games. He had four tackles during his time in the game against Akron.
“He’s a neat kid and fun to be around,” Chryst went on to say about Jamerson. “He’s got the right approach.”
True freshman Caesar Williams and junior Lubern Figaro have moved up on the cornerback depth chart in Jamerson’s place. Corey Clement and true freshman A.J. Taylor are listed as the team’s kick return specialists.
