Damian Lillard shows his hops by slamming the put back dunk over 7’3’’ Kristaps Porzingis.
9. Rajon Rondo Show
Facing great defense from Trey Burke in the transition, Rajon Rondo whips the ball behind his back and then flings it to Rudy Gay. Rudy Gay completes the highlight and earns Rondo an assist by finishing with an and-1 dunk.
Rondo also threw down this baseline dunk against the Knicks.
8. Raul Neto Hits a Circus Shot
Absorbing a hard foul from Ian Mahinmi, Raul Neto is able to keep control and throw the ball up in the air as he is spinning away from the basket. The ball swishes in and Neto collects an and-1.
7. Matt Barnes with the Game Winner
After a horrific display on offense by the Pistons, Matt Barnes secures the rebound and launches from half court. Barnes nails the shot to give Memphis a 93-92 win.
6. Kevin Garnett Turns Back the Clock
After receiving a great pass from Ricky Rubio on the fast break, Kevin Garnett gets the ball in the lower paint with only Blake Griffin between him and the basket. Griffin does all he can at the time and stands still with his hands up, but that is no match for Garnett as he soars over Griffin and slams it in. Garnett received a technical foul for taunting after the play.
5. Jabari Parker Stays in the Air Over DeAndre Jordan
Bucks forward Jabari Parker double-clutched mid-air to dunk over one of the most towering big men in all of the game.
4. Gerald Green Has Two Nasty Dunks on the Cavaliers
On the first dunk, Gerald Green is pushed by JR Smith but is still able to take off from the bottom of the circle and slam it in for an and-1. On the second dunk, Green uses a hesitation step to fool Richard Jefferson and Matthew Dellavedova and Timofy Mozgov do not even attempt to stop Green on this aggressive dunk.
3. Russell Westbrook’s Clever Buzzer Beater
No one on the Thunder is open with enough time to shoot, so Russell Westbrook improvises by throwing it off of Rodney Hood’s back. Westbrook then collects the ball and scores before time runs out in the second quarter. The Thunder would go on to win the game in overtime.
2. C.J. McCollum Puts Dirk in the Spin Cycle
Dirk Nowitzki has never been known for his defense but C.J. McCollum has Dirk complete a full 360 spin with his crossover. To finish off the play, McCollum swishes the open three-pointer.
