After a tough, gut-check of a game against Ohio State, Wisconsin has fallen two spots to #10 in the new AP Top 25 poll.
In an overtime loss to the Buckeyes, Badgers fans may have thought Wisconsin would fall down the poll farther after back to back loses. But losing by one score in two games against two of the best teams in the country is no small feat and the rankings echo that.
In the USA Today Amway Coaches poll, Wisconsin stayed at their previous rank of #10. Clearly the coaches took into account just how close the game was against Ohio State and did not penalize them for the loss.
Tennessee and Ole Miss losing yesterday doesn’t hurt either.
