On Tuesday night, the annual ping-pong ball event known as the NBA draft lottery took place in New York City.
With 1.8% odds to get the #1 pick, Milwaukee ended up with the 10th pick in the first round of the June 23 draft.
The rest of the draft order:
- Philadelphia 76ers
- Los Angeles Lakers
- Boston Celtics
- Phoenix Suns
- Minnesota Timberwolves
- New Orleans Pelicans
- Denver Nuggets
- Sacramento Kings
- Toronto Raptors
- Milwaukee Bucks
- Orlando Magic
- Utah Jazz
- Phoenix Suns
- Chicago Bulls
The Bucks hold two second-round picks as well, which will be #36 and #38 respectively.
In terms of first round targets, the Bucks could take a look at Utah’s Jakob Poeltl, Notre Dame’s Demetrius Jackson, California’s Jaylen Brown, Marquette and Rice Lake, WI native Henry Ellenson, and Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield.
So much could and will change in the next month, so take those five names with a grain of salt.
