After the Badgers’ 82-79 win last night, Nigel Hayes had some words for Indiana in the handshake line.

Hayes had 31 points, including 17-22 from the free throw line, in the overtime win, but he may have had some extra motivation.

As Hayes told the media after the game, an Indiana staffer was talking back-and-forth with Hayes throughout the game. After Hayes blocked Indiana forward Troy Williams, Hayes stared down at the Hoosiers’ bench, presumably at said staffer. Hayes called the staffer “The Madison Spike Lee” after the game.

Here’s the video from Big Ten Network, which captured Hayes’s words, whether you like them or not.
