For Game 1 against Alabama this Saturday, the Badgers’ depth chart has been announced!
They’ll line up somewhat like this:
The main surprise is without a doubt Tanner McEvoy starting as the #2 receiver. There was buzz around the team’s summer camp that he would be changing positions, but we did not expect him to be in the starting lineup.
It’s also worth noting that Bart Houston is listed as the #2 quarterback, in front of D.J. Gillins. Similarly, redshirt junior Dare Ogunbowale has solidified his role as the #2 running back, and he will receive carries to give Corey Clement a break throughout the matchup against one of the top front 7’s in the country in Alabama.
Lastly, it appears the offensive line is final for at least Game 1 after several injuries and shuffling.
The game starts at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 5, at Cowboys Stadium.
