Wide receiver Taj Mustapha announced his commitment to Wisconsin last night. The 6’2″ wide out from West Bloomfield, Michigan, chose Wisconsin over Michigan State, Minnesota, and Iowa among others.

Ranked number 137th in the nation, the high school junior will graduate next spring making him Wisconsin’s 14th commitment from the class of 2018. Mustapha has displayed great speed and was a viable deep threat in high school. His athleticism and play-making ability impressed wide receivers coach Ted Gilmore, who played a big role in recruiting him.

Adding depth to the wide receiver position is always a good idea, and the more weapons the Badgers have in the receiving game, the more potent their offense becomes.
