After reports yesterday that Dwyane Wade’s free agency meeting with the Bucks had been canceled, it’s back on.

The Bucks will meet with Wade in New York today, according to multiple reports.  Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry will be the key participant from Milwaukee’s side.

Wade also has meetings set with the Nuggets, who have apparently offered over $50 million over two years, and the Bulls.

A possible one-on-one meeting with Heat owner Micky Arison may take place as well. Wade does not have a meeting set currently with the Heat.

What changed for Wade to put his meeting back on with the Bucks? LeBron James was told the Cavs do not have the space to sign Wade without James taking the veteran minimum (not happening for the Finals MVP). There goes Cleveland.

The Bulls already have two starting guards getting paid a lot in Rajon Rondo and Jimmy Butler. Still, this is Wade’s hometown team and almost any lineup in the league will be flexible to add Wade.

The Nuggets are just not his destination of choice, and he wants to see how much the Bucks will offer.

The Bucks are ready to compete it appears, and even more willing to embrace Wade’s possible arrival. Still, Wade may not fit the best in the Bucks’ scheme and they need to trade Greg Monroe to make room for Wade.

All of these places are still possible destinations, with the Heat still being Wade’s likely end result if they offer a bit more money.

I didn’t think there was a true chance of Wade coming to Milwaukee, but things are changing rapidly.
