Milwaukee Bucks guard Khris Middleton has been selected to compete in this year’s Foot Locker Three-Point Contest during All-Star Weekend in Toronto.

Middleton will be one of eight contestants in this year’s shootout and will look to be the Bucks’ first winner since 2001 when Ray Allen took the crown in Washington D.C.

THREE POINT LINEUP

Khris Middleton, Bucks

Stephen Curry, Warriors

J.J. Redick, Clippers

Klay Thompson, Warriors

James Harden, Rockets

Chris Bosh, Heat

Devin Booker, Suns

Kyle Lowry, Raptors

Perhaps a snub from last year’s contest, Middleton has improved greatly since last season bumping up his points per game average by just over four and increasing his three-point percentage by a couple points.

MIami Heat guard Dwyane Wade recently spoke praise about Middleton, saying, “He’s one of the best shooters in the league.” Wade and Middleton worked out frequently together this summer.

Middleton is fifth among participants in three point percentage shooting 41.2 percent and is the second Milwaukee player to be selected to compete in this year’s All-Star weekend.

Reigning champion Stephen Curry will look to defend his title as the shootout is the second event up on Saturday, February, 13.
