Well, how about that. After starting out 6-6 in the Big Ten, the Badgers managed to put together seven straight wins. The only thing standing in the way between them and a share of the Big Ten title was a matchup with Indiana in Assembly Hall. It was far from easy but they got it done with tough, gritty play down the stretch.
“We’ve gone through a lot and for us to be able to stick together the way that we have and to earn this thing, I couldn’t be happier,” junior forward Micah Potter said. “I couldn’t be more proud of this team.”
Nobody would have predicted the Badgers to have the run that they are on and Wisconsin twitter reacted appropriately to their first Big Ten title since 2015.
