The Bucks will be on the first night of a back-to-back Wednesday as they travel to Atlanta to take on Trae Young and the Hawks. Milwaukee has won 4 straight, most recently a 115-101 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Hawks are reeling a bit right now as they’ve lost their last 3 games on their West Coast road trip, culminating in a 122-101 loss to the Lakers Sunday night.
Atlanta has been an interesting case study this season. Their offense is spearheaded by dynamic playmaker and sharpshooter Trae Young, but there’s really nothing else going for the Hawks on offense. They average 106.1 points per game but are the least efficient offense in the league. They aren’t much better on defense either, posting the 24th best defensive efficiency rating in the NBA. Rookies Cam Reddish and DeAndre Hunter have had their moments so far but Reddish has been flat out bad on offense this season thanks to some ice-cold shooting (27% from the field). The Bucks really only have to key on Young, and that’s a huge problem for Atlanta.
MIL: Bledsoe, DiVincenzo, Matthews, G. Antetokounmpo, B. Lopez
ATL: Young, Reddish, Hunter, Parker, Jones
Injuries: Kevin Huerter and Vince Carter will both miss the game for Atlanta with injuries.
The spread: MIL -11
Time and TV: 6:30 PM CT on FS Wisconsin
Prediction: This should be a cakewalk for the Bucks as they completely outmatch Atlanta in pretty much every facet of the game. They could probably give Giannis the night off for this one and still win. Barring some Trae Young supernova, Milwaukee should win handily. Bucks 127, Hawks 104
