The Bucks will be looking to shake off a tough loss to the Utah Jazz as they conclude their Western Conference road trip with a date with the Thunder in Oklahoma City.
Milwaukee lost 103-100 to Utah on Friday after storming back from a 20 point halftime deficit. Bojan Bogdanovic hit the game-winning 3 for the Jazz at the buzzer, extending the Bucks’ losing streak in Salt Lake City. Giannis Antetokoumpo scored 30 points in the loss for Milwaukee.
Oklahoma City has completely overhauled its team from last season that beat the Bucks in both matchups. Stars Russell Westbrook and Paul George have since departed the Thunder and Chris Paul has come in their place. OKC still has a collection of talented players including Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroder, and Steven Adams. While not being nearly as good as they were last year, the Thunder can still pose some problems with their top-10 ranked defense.
MIL: Bledsoe, Matthews, Middleton, G. Antetokounmpo, B. Lopez
OKC: Paul, Gilgeous-Alexander, Ferguson, Gallinari, Adams
Injuries: Kyle Korver (head contusion) will not play for the Bucks while Andre Roberson will sit for the Thunder with a knee injury.
The spread: MIL -8
Time and TV: 6:00 PM CT on FS Wisconsin
Prediction: Milwaukee is coming off a tough loss and will be travel-weary but they are very likely to win this one. Their shooting is much better than the Thunder and that will propel them to victory. Bucks 122, Thunder 104
