The Bucks continue their 4-game road trip as they head into Tinseltown to take on the Clippers in what is going to be less star-studded as originally though. Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will not play for LA due to load management, and Paul George remains out with a shoulder injury.

The Clippers remain a very formidable team even without their two stars, and the Bucks should not take them lightly. Milwaukee lost in LA against the Clippers in overtime last season and they could face a similar fate if they don’t take them seriously. Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams could give the Bucks serious problems coming off the bench against Milwaukee’s second unit as they have in the past.

Los Angeles is coming off a 105-94 victory over the Utah Jazz on Sunday, led by 30 points from Kawhi Leonard. The Bucks are starting to revert to their 2018 form, as they topped Minnesota on the road 134-106 on Monday night. They’ll be looking for their fourth straight victory.

Expected starters:

MIL: Bledsoe, Matthews, Middleton, G. Antetokounmpo, B. Lopez

LAC: Beverley, Shamet, Williams, Patterson, Zubac

Injuries: Kawhi Leonard (load management) and Paul George (shoulder) are both out for Los Angeles.

The spread: MIL -5.5

Time and TV: 9:00 PM CT on ESPN

Prediction: I was leaning towards picking the Clippers in this one, as they have home court advantage and are better rested. However, the Bucks should be able to win due to Leonard’s absence, although I think it will be very close. Bucks 110, Clippers 106
