MADISON- With the 17th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks selected Villanova standout Donte DiVincenzo. The 6-5 shooting guard saw his stock soar since March, leading the Wildcats to a national championship after dropping 31 points in the National Championship Game in April.

Milwaukee needed more shooting, and landed that with “The Big Ragu,” who talked with Milwaukee and had Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo present at his pro day. DiVincenzo had the tournament of a lifetime, and then completed one of the most impressive combines out of the whole draft class, including a 42″ vertical leap, which was the highest at the combine.

DiVincenzo averaged 13 points, five rebounds and 4.5 assists in 2017-2018, and will join the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon in Milwaukee, to try to win their first playoff series since 2001.
