After a split against top-ranked Notre Dame last weekend, the Badgers are back in action at the Kohl Center, this time against the 14th-ranked Nittany Lions.

Penn State comes into the weekend series on the heels of getting swept by Michigan last weekend in Ann Arbor. After falling 4-0 to the Wolverines on Friday night, Penn State was able to scratch together two goals with an extra attacker on Saturday in a 3-2 defeat. Having not scored a 5-on-5 goal all weekend, it will be interesting to see how the Nittany Lions respond against the Badger’s young defensemen.

As for Wisconsin, the Badgers were able to dominate Notre Dame 5-0 at the United Center this past Sunday. With a balanced scoring attack to go along with goaltender Jack Berry’s 40 saves, Sunday afternoon’s game was probably the Badger’s most complete game of the season. If they can compete at the level from last weekend, the Badgers should be able to control the games on home ice.

This weekend’s games are both at the Kohl Center at 8 and 7 PM respectively.
