UW Athletics announced on Saturday morning that the Badgers will be without starting point guard D’Mitrik Trice and key reserve Kobe King against Marquette. Both players are out indefinitely.

Trice is scheduled to have surgery on his foot Monday, according to UW Athletics. The surgery is going to sideline the sophomore for at least a few weeks.

King’s injury doesn’t seem to be as serious, but nonetheless, the Badgers will take on Marquette without him.

Wisconsin has already shown a lack of depth on the roster, but Brad Davison and Brevin Pritzl will be the only Badger guards available. Look for Aleem Ford, who has played mostly at the four position, to play major minutes at the three until King and Trice return.
