Sophomore standout Trent Frederic got the Badgers on the board late in the first period off a nice feed from freshman Linus Weissbach. Frederic was able to find some space in the high slot and fire one past BC goalie Joseph Woll.
Boston College tied the game late in the first, but early in the second period senior Tim Davison was able to find the top shelf off a faceoff to put the Badgers back on top. Seamus Malone would add another goal about 10 minutes later to stretch the lead to two.
Matt Freytag extended the lead early in the 3rd with a beautiful shot that Woll couldn’t handle. BC would eventually cut the lead down to two but for no avail. Freshman Tarek Baker scored his third goal of the season on an empty net to secure the win.
