Offensive tackle Michael Furtney committed to Wisconsin on Tuesday, becoming the seventh Badgers commit of the 2018 class.
The 6’5″ lineman from Milan, Michigan is a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. He plays for the Milan Big Reds, who were 9-2 overall and 6-1 in their conference.
Furtney visited Wisconsin for the his fifth unofficial visit on Tuesday.
Furtney tweeted out his commitment Tuesday afternoon, thanking his family, teammates, and coaches. He went on to say that he was ready to end the recruiting process to focus on his senior year of high school.

Per 247 Sports‘ Evan Flood, following his commitment, he had 26 scholarships offers including Michigan State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Vanderbilt, Virginia, and more.
247Sports has Furtney ranked as the 50th offensive tackle in the nation.
