According to John Kuhn’s agent Kevin Gold, former Packers fullback and fan favorite John Kuhn has signed with the New Orleans Saints. SST first broke the news on Kuhn’s signing.

The contract is for one-year and $985,000, the 10-year veteran’s minimum, Gold said.

Kuhn ran for 601 yards and 15 touchdowns in his nine seasons (2007-2015) in Green Bay, four of which he was a Pro Bowler. He will long be remembered for his short yardage scores and “KUUUUUUUHN” chants that echoed throughout Lambeau Field on Sundays.

“John is excited to start a new chapter but will miss the love and support of the Packers fan base and his teammates,” Gold told SST.

The signing marks the Packers officially moving on from Kuhn in the form of fullback Aaron Ripkowski.
