On Thursday morning at 7:03am CT, all 2,100 Wisconsin men’s basketball season tickets sold out, only three minutes after they went on sale.

Three minutes is a record, according to Wisconsin Athletics.

More importantly now, Nigel Hayes, if he keeps his promise, will have to give all 2,100 students who bought tickets donuts as a result. He tweeted that he and Bronson Koenig would buy donuts for each student with tickets Wednesday night.

Hayes appears he will fulfill his end of the promise at Madison donut favorite Greenbush Bakery.

This was the 12th sellout in the past 15 seasons for the Badgers. Winter-break, three-game packages for December 23 vs. Florida A&M, December 27 vs. Rutgers, and January 12 vs. Ohio State will go on sale on September 23 at 4:30pm for all of those who may have missed out this morning.
