Wisconsin Men’s Basketball team will face off in an exhibition match on Wednesday, November 1, against Northern Iowa. The game will take place at the Kohl Center.
Normally, NCAA teams are allowed two exhibition matches or closed scrimmages per year, but in light of the recent hurricanes in the southern United States and the Caribbean, a third match has been allowed to raise funds for these efforts.
“This opportunity presented itself last week,” said UW head coach Greg Gard. “It gives fans the chance to see our team, it gives our team a chance to play against another school and, most importantly, we can raise some money for a great organization like Team Rubicon that does so much to assist those in need around the world.”
Admission to the game is free and students and donors will be allowed to secure tickets online starting on October 24.
