While the men’s team gets their season going next Sunday, the women’s team go underway this past weekend with a series against Lindenwood. Headed into the season the Badgers were ranked 2nd in the country following their national finals run last season.

This weekend, the Badgers showed their dominance and that their ranking is well deserved. While the final score Friday night was only 3-1, the Badgers outshot Lindenwood 51-9, and 20-0 in the third period. The large quantity of shots may not have resulted in goals, but did show how dominating this team can be.

On Saturday, it was much of the same. Wisconsin dominated on their way to a 4-0 victory, including a spectacular goal by Presley Norby.

Norby would finish the weekend with two goals and four points in a very impressive weekend performance.

The Badgers are back in action on Thursday as they take on Mercyhurst at LaBahn Arena.
