Former Wisconsin offensive coach Bob Bostad is on his way back onto the Wisconsin football coaching staff, this time as the coach of the inside linebackers, according to FootballScoop.com.
Bostad has been on many teams staff over the years, most recently with Northern Illinois as a tight ends and fullbacks coach. He was last with the Badgers in the 2006-11 seasons.
This time he will be switching to the other side of the ball to the vacant opening at the inside linebacker coaching position. Bostad played linebacker during his three-year career at UW-Stevens Point in the late 80’s.
He has also coached with San Jose State, New Mexico, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tennessee Titans, but again, never on the defensive side of the ball.
