After the Badgers 21-7 win over Northwestern on the road this past weekend, the Badgers have moved up in the College Football Playoff rankings, Associated Press poll, and USA Today Coaches poll.

In both the AP and Coaches polls, the Badgers rank No. 7, below the two teams they lost to earlier in the season, No. 2 Michigan and No. 5 Ohio State. After ranking No. 8 in the first College Football Playoff rankings last week, the Badgers moved up to No. 7. The Badgers control their Big Ten Championship and overall playoff hopes if they win out the rest of the season.

Wisconsin will face Illinois this weekend at home in the Badgers homecoming game. They then travel to Purdue and return home to play Minnesota in the final two games of the season.
