Despite a 14-7 loss in Ann Arbor this weekend, the Wisconsin Badgers fell only slightly below the top ten in the collegiate polls this week.

Wisconsin fell five spots in the Amway Coaches Poll to #13 and three spots to #11 in the AP Poll. Michigan, who remains undefeated at 5-0, moved up to #4 in the Amway poll and stayed at #4 in the AP poll.

Wisconsin heads into their bye week, coming at the perfect time as the team struggles with short-term and season ending injuries on all sides of the ball. This past week Wisconsin announced that starting kicker Rafael Gaglianone would miss the remainder of the season with a back injury. Outside linebacker Vince Biegel also will miss 2-4 weeks with a foot injury that required surgery this past week. The bye week will hopefully give players the time to recuperate and make adjustments in various position units.

The Badgers play Ohio State in their first night game at Camp Randall on Oct. 15. Ohio State is currently ranked #2 in both the Amway poll and AP poll after their 58-0 win against Rutgers this past Saturday.
