Wisconsin linebacker T.J. Edwards is still out indefinitely with a foot injury, without a timetable for returning to the field.

“He was having a heck of a summer, it’s unfortunate for him, but the one thing I love about him is his mindset or approach to it,” Wisconsin head coach Paul Chryst said on Tuesday at Big Ten Media Day. “But I don’t know of a hard time table.”

Edwards, the team leader in tackles last season with 84, would be a major loss for a Wisconsin defense heading into an LSU game that will pit them against one of the top rushers in college football, Leonard Fournette.

As noted last week, Jack Cichy will be asked to take on a bigger role inside if Edwards cannot play against LSU.
