The following players are INACTIVE this week that you may have on your fantasy team:
-
RB Tre Mason (STL): The word on Mason developed toward the end of the week, and Cunningham could be valuable in PPR. Just remember St. Louis plays Seattle.
- Replacement: RB Benny Cunningham
-
RB Todd Gurley (STL): We know Gurley still needs time to get back from that torn ACL. See above about Cunningham.
- Replacement: RB Benny Cunningham
-
WR Brian Quick (STL): This inactive came as a shock, but I don’t think anyone should start a Rams receiver until we’re proven otherwise.
- Replacement: WR Kenny Britt/Tavon Austin
-
RB Arian Foster (HOU): No surprise here as Foster should be out at least the first three weeks. Blue is a safe bet to score a touchdown, but Chris Polk could also see some time today.
- Replacement: RB Alfred Blue
-
TE Julius Thomas (JAC): We knew he was out for three weeks minimum. Lewis was the starting tight end for years, but I wouldn’t count on him against a tough Panthers defense.
- Replacement: TE Mercedes Lewis
NOTE: WR Mike Evans (TB) is OUT for this afternoon’s game.
In summary, the only players from this list worth starting, depending on your running back depth, are Cunningham and Blue.
The following players are ACTIVE this week that you should have in your starting lineup:
- WR Randall Cobb (GB)
- WR Alshon Jeffery (CHI)
- WR DeVante Parker (MIA)
- RB Chris Ivory (NYJ)
- TE Travis Kelce (KC)
- RB LeSean McCoy (BUF)
- WR Sammy Watkins (BUF)
NOTE: RB Chris Johnson (ARI) and WR Michael Floyd (ARI) are both expected to play this afternoon.
